Angela Thomas-Santos is a Holistic Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing truly Holistic care, care for Mind, Body and Spirit. Her desire and prayer is to help relieve suffering, promote well-being and help others remember their own innate divinity. She is a Spiritual Director (Through Loyola University, Chicago) She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1998 University of Illinois at Chicago) and RN since 1991 (Indiana University) is holistically certified and a certified MBSR teacher (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, UCSD Center for Mindfulness). Angela has worked much of her career in the Emergency department, Palliative and Hospice care, teaching and practicing Mindfulness, guided imagery, energy healing and other Holistic practices. This experience combined with her training as a Spiritual Director makes her uniquely suited for whole person caring.
She participated in mindfulness research with colleagues at Northwestern University, Michigan State University and Northshore University health systems, where she has provided Mindfulness and stress reduction for colleagues.. She is passionate about what she does, incorporating, Mind, Body and Spirit for healing, especially in her work as a Spiritual director, energy worker and teaching the transformative practice of Mindfulness and as a working mother of 4 young adults, practices and teaches what she most needs to remember.
